Newcastle & Central Coast

The people who quote your solar are the people who install it.

No sales agency. No subcontractors. Ausave designs your system on site and installs it with our own licensed electricians.

  • 100% in-house team — every install done by our own licensed electricians, never contractors
  • Tier 1 equipment only — panels, inverters and batteries, no cheap substitutes
  • We visit before we quote — your roof, your switchboard, your shading, then a fixed price
What will solar actually cost you?
Four quick questions. No obligation, no door-knockers.

Where’s the property?

We install across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast.

Do you own the property?

Solar is a permanent change to the building, so the owner has to sign off.

What’s the roof like?

This changes the mounting hardware and the price.

Roughly what’s your electricity bill?

Per quarter. A rough figure is fine.

Where should we send your assessment?

An Ausave electrician will call to arrange a time to look at the roof. No cost, no obligation.

Best time to call?

You’ll need the owner on board first.

Solar is a permanent alteration to the building, so we can only quote with the property owner’s approval. Plenty of landlords say yes once they see the numbers — send them our way, or ask them to call us on 1300 113 313.

That’s outside our patch.

We only install where our own team can get to, which means Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast. We’d rather tell you now than waste your time. If you think we’ve got that wrong, give us a call on 1300 113 313.

Got it — we’ll be in touch shortly.

One of our electricians will call to arrange your on-site assessment. If you’d rather not wait, ring us on 1300 113 313.

That didn’t send.

Something went wrong at our end, and we don’t want to lose your enquiry. Please call 1300 113 313 or email home@ausave.energy.

Why it matters who installs it

Most solar problems aren’t panel problems.

They’re installation problems — and they surface years later, when the company that sold you the system has moved on and the subcontractor who fitted it can’t be traced.

One team, start to finish

The electrician who designs your system is the one who installs it. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the roof.

Designed on your roof

We visit before quoting. Shading, roof condition, switchboard and meter all change what you actually need — and none of them can be assessed from a satellite photo.

Local, and staying local

Newcastle and the Central Coast is the whole business, not a territory on a franchise map. When you need us in year six, we’re still here.

How it works

Three steps, no pressure.

  1. We call you back

A quick conversation about your bill, your roof and what you’re hoping to achieve. Usually ten minutes.

  2. We come and look

An electrician assesses the roof, switchboard and shading on site, then designs a system around what’s actually there.

  3. You get a fixed price

Itemised, in writing, with the rebate already applied. If you want to think about it, think about it.

On savings estimates: anyone who quotes you an exact yearly saving before seeing your roof is guessing. Real figures depend on your usage pattern, roof orientation, shading and tariff — which is why we work them out on site and put them in writing.

The rebate

The federal solar rebate shrinks every year until it’s gone.

Small-scale Technology Certificates come off your system price up front. The number of certificates a system earns steps down on a published schedule and the scheme ends entirely on 31 December 2030 — so the same system costs a little more each year you wait. That isn’t a sales tactic, it’s legislation.

Solar

The STC discount is applied to your quote before you pay. We handle the paperwork.

Batteries

The federal battery rebate is separate and is tiered by size. We can price solar and battery together, or a battery for an existing system.

Straight answers

The questions people actually ask.

Is my roof even suitable?

Most are. Orientation, pitch, shading and roof condition all matter, and a double-storey tile roof costs more to work on than a single-storey Colorbond. We’ll tell you honestly if it’s not worth doing — that conversation costs you nothing.

What happens to my warranty if you go out of business?

A fair question given the industry’s history. Your panels and inverter carry manufacturer warranties that exist independently of us. The workmanship warranty is ours, which is one reason we stay small, local and in-house rather than chasing volume.

Will I get a call from a call centre?

No. You’ll get a call from an Ausave electrician. We don’t use sales agencies, we don’t door-knock, and we don’t pass your details to anyone else.

What’s included in the price?

Design, equipment, installation by our own team, and the rebate paperwork. Where a switchboard or meter upgrade is needed, it goes on the quote as a separate line before you commit — never as a surprise on installation day.

How long does it take?

A typical residential install is a day on the roof. The wait from signing to installation depends on equipment availability and your network’s approval, and we’ll give you a realistic date rather than an optimistic one.
